INCREASINGLY MORE COMPANIES ARE AWARE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES’ POTENTIAL – PROMOTE HEALTH. THE PRESSURE REMAINS OR INCREASES.

44% of the working population is exposed to high pressure at work that may lead to health problems such as headaches, sleeping disorders or mental problems. Many of these symptoms may be minimized through regular, moderate exercising.

INACTIVITY AT WORK

Very often we encounter an inactive lifestyle in the service industry which has far-reaching effects for the companies. If a middle aged employee, who is extremely valuable due to his wealth of experience, drops out of the work cycle, this causes costs that reach far beyond the salary.

Employees with a good fitness have up to 61 percent less absences compared to inactive employees (Tucker et al., 1990). The resulting savings and productivity increase are tremendous, however, up to now they are seldom considered in corporate cost discussions.
